Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GainShare mobile apps, Apple Watch app, and web app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use GainShare.
• You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information and keep it current. One person per account; don't impersonate others.

GainShare provides training tools, coaching suggestions, and fitness metrics for informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for guidance from a physician or qualified health professional. Consult a doctor before beginning any exercise program, and stop training and seek medical attention if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort. You use the Service and perform any physical activity at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for training within your own limits.

• You own the content you post — workouts, photos, videos, comments, templates, and programs.
• By sharing content on the Service you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute it solely to operate and promote the Service (for example, showing your post to the audience you selected).
• You can delete your content at any time, which ends this license except for copies already shared with or saved by other users you authorized (for example, a template someone saved).
• Only post content you have the right to share.

When using social features you agree not to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, or demean other users.
• Post sexually explicit, hateful, violent, or illegal content.
• Spam, scam, or misrepresent products or services.
• Post other people's private information.
• Falsify workout data to manipulate leaderboards or challenges.
• Scrape the Service, reverse-engineer it, or interfere with its operation.

You can report or block any user or post in the app. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

• GainShare offers optional paid subscriptions ("Pro") billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
• Prices may change; we will notify you before a change affects an active subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

You can stop using GainShare and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or abuse the Service. Upon termination your license to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (content licenses already exercised, disclaimers, limitations of liability) survive.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GainShare and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any injury arising from physical activity you perform, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If a change is material we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
